Hyde Clarendon Performing Arts students enjoyed a two night visit to Edinburgh, a city famous for its history and culture.
An action packed trip was on the cards, kicking off with a spine tingling night time City Ghost Tour, were the group learned about the gruesome facts hidden in the city’s history.
Next on the list was a trip to Edinburgh’s Camera Obscura, a Museum that tells stories of Edinburgh’s past and present, in an engaging and informative way using an array of mirrors, lenses and daylight to produce a number of dazzling optical illusions.
The visit’s grand finale aptly took place at the Edinburgh Playhouse Theatre, were the students enjoyed ‘Spamalot’, a musical comedy show taken from the famous 1975 film, Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
Former Egerton Park Arts College pupil (now known as Denton Community College), Bethany Yates, said: “Edinburgh was a fun experience, I loved the city it has so much history. The theatre trip was excellent!”
