Shantelle Taylor Aims Higher

Congratulations to Hyde Clarendon student, Shantelle Taylor who has recently been commended for her hard work throughout her A levels whilst suffering with Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome.

Shantelle started at Hyde Clarendon studying on a BTEC First Diploma and has worked her way up to A levels. She has secured a place at Manchester Metropolitan University to study Law and is predicted excellent A level grades despite suffering from her disability.

She has worked closely with Aimhigher and has been a fantastic and dedicated student. Shantelle was presented with an Aimhigher special achievement award by athlete, Darren Campbell at the University of Salford at the end of term.

Aimhigher co-ordinator, Corinne Solly commented, “Shantelle’s tutors, ALS workers and myself are really proud of her.”
