Getting to college couldn’t be easier and al prospective students receive a detailed schedule of bus and train times to and from the college. The college is located on local train and bus routes.

Train Travel

Newton Station is 3 minutes walk from the Hyde Clarendon College campus. Hyde Central is 8 minutes walk away.

Students travelling from Hadfield, Glossop, Broadbottom

First North Western trains run every 20 minutes at peak times. Journey time to Newton Station is 15-20 minutes.

Students travelling from Guide Bridge, Gorton or Ardwick.

The Journey time from Piccadilly to Newton is 16 minutes and trains run regularly at peak times.

Students travelling from Rose Hill, Romiley and Woodley to Hyde Central - (8 minutes walk from the Hyde Clarendon College campus).

The journey time from Rose Hill is 11 minutes. The time from Romiley and Woodley is 6 and 3 minutes respectively.

Bus Travel

Free Bus Service

There is a free bus service from Droylsden and Ashton North.

The Bus takes in Droylsden, Littlemoss, Waterloo Road, Hurst Cross, Sandy Lane and Cheetham Hill Road.

The College is situated on main bus routes for all surrounding areas and is only 8 minutes walk from Hyde Bus Station.

All prospective students will receive a comprehensive guide to bus routes and times to and from College. These are the main bus routes to the College. Some services will accept Megarider tickets for discounted travel.
